dance film review
The Festival has issued an invitation to participate addressed to Italian and foreign choreographers, performers and videomakers, with the aim of selecting original short works created over the last 12 months.
The videos sent by the candidates and selected by the Festival Direction will participate in the video review. The selected works will be screened in a continuous cycle to facilitate viewing by spectators during the two days.
The Festival intends to involve the active participation of the public in the selection of the finalist works that will be screened at the end of the review, during the award ceremony on September 20, at 21:00. The finalist works will therefore be subjected to a further judgment by the spectators of the Festival, who will spontaneously intervene as passionate non-expert spectators.
They will be able to express their preference motivating it during a meeting open to the public, which will take place at the end of the review in the presence of the Festival's artistic direction. In the event of a tie, the vote of the festival management will prevail.
