VIDEOBOX is a festival dedicated to video dance and new technologies which aims to promote the diffusion of contemporary artistic languages. 

 

It started in 2020 thanks to the pilot-action created by Hangartfest in the context of TRAINART - building new skills for innovative business models in the performing arts sector, co-financed by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.

The festival has a section dedicated to immersive experiences, virtual reality and 360 visions. 

​

Hangartfest is in a network with La Compagnia della Quarta Bologna and collaborates with ISIA U, Higher Institute for the Artistic Industry of Urbino and with IL CINEMINO Milano.

​

VIDEOBOX annually hosts the INTERFACCIA DIGITALE award (link to 2023 edition) which aims to support the production of new video works.
